THE BIG SMALL SHOW, 12/16/16 - 2/19/17
We are currently taking submissions for our 2016 year-end fundraiser exhibit, THE BIG SMALL SHOW,
a review of works made in the past 2 years from area artists living in NJ, NY and CT.
This is the fourth annual BIG SMALL SHOW at Drawing Rooms. Our biggest exhibit of the year will include
close to 100 artists from the NY/NJ Metro Area in our nine gallery rooms. Our goal is to create a show with a
large array of innovative and exceptional new paintings, framed drawings and 3-dimensional works to produce
an exhibition that surveys recent art in our area. For THE BIG SMALL SHOW we make full use of our multi-gallery
room format to gather a small group of works from each artist in context together, creating visual, formal and
conceptual connections, amplifying themes and deepening ways of understanding the works.
